Hard Tac Candy
2 cups white sugar
2/3 cup white Karo syrup
1 cup water
Combine all ingredients and bring to a 300 Degree boil. Use a candy theremoter to show.
Remove from heat, add 1 bottle of flavoring and food coloring. Mix well.
Pour onto powdered sugar and allow to semi-cool. Must be warm enough to cut with scissors. Some people let it cool then break it. But we think that cutting them into little "pillows" makes it look pretty.
We take cookie trays, line them with aluminum foil, and fill it with powdered sugar. Then press the sugar down and then take our fingers and make "tunnels" in the sugar. It gives the liquid something to form to and doesn't clump the candy in a bunch. This helps it to cool faster and more bite-size.
So I hope you can figure this out. Hahaha. I tried my best to explain. Translate for your mom and she can probably figure it out. It might take a few batches of candy to learn, but it's worth it. Good luck and have fun!!!

Zum Thema Sweet Sugar Candyman fällt mir auch noch eine nette Story ein: Nach dem Training bin ich mal wieder länger geblieben um bei den Hobbies mitzuspielen. Während unseres Trainings sind nebenan die Basketballer und hören auch mit uns auf. Um in den anderen Teil der Halle zu kommen musste ich dann an deren Kabine vorbei. NICE BABY!
Tut mir Leid, aber was kann ich denn dafür, wenn die nunmal gerne mit offener Kabinentür duschen? Nichts. Deswegen war ja auch ein wenig Gucken erlaubt. Sooo viel hat man jetzt nicht gesehen (bin ja auch gleich weitergegangen. Natürlich. Natürlich), aber zum Schmunzeln hat's gereicht. ;)
